NATIONAL SPORTS COUNCIL (NSC) road tennis coach Peter Moore is all about progress, but he is adamant that there will be no change in the ball used at the upcoming Secondary Schools’ Road Tennis Tournament.
“Only the Professional Road Tennis Association uses those different balls. It is a harder ball and of a fluorescent colour. It’s easier with the light to pick up the ball, but my view of the ball is that it is a bit too hard,” he said.
Coordinator Ricardo Marshall had announced the Secondary Schools’ Road Tennis Tournament would be played with the traditional road tennis ball.
Moore is also of the opinion that one ball should be decided upon to play the sport.
