IT’S Better the second time around.
The Barbados Under-21 squad lost to the Spooners Hill Firebirds 51-45 Monday night at the Netball Stadium, but it was a much improved showing from their drawn first match against C.O. Williams Rangers.
The Under-21s looked a more settled and cohesive unit, free from the chains of nervousness that tied them up against Rangers.
The transition from defence to offence was more fluent and constructive, but most of all they seemed to be relaxed and enjoying themselves.
Their goal attack Sheniqua Thomas epitomised this. (AT)
