Sinckler upbeat about ‘new blood’

THE DEMOCRATIC LABOUR PARTY (DLP) will be retaking the constituencies of St Michael East, St Michael South East and The City.

This is the promise of Member of Parliament for St Michael North West, Chris Sinckler, who said he had full confidence in his party’s newest candidates, Nicholas Alleyne, Rodney Grant and Henderson Williams to bring back those constituencies to the DLP fold.

During the last elections, former deputy speaker Kenny Best was defeated by Trevor Prescod in St Michael East; Patrick Tannis narrowly lost to Santia Bradshaw in St Michael South East, and Patrick Todd was beaten in The City by Lieutenant Colonel Jeffrey Bostic.

All three were recently replaced as DLP candidates. (CA)
