WHEN SYNCHRO BARBADOS team members are not in the pool, sometimes they can be found giving back to the community.

Yesterday, the synchronised swimming club, which is based at the Aquatic Centre in Wildey, St Michael, hit Drill Hall Beach to host their beach clean-up.

Executive member Tanya Foster told the DAILY NATION the aim of the project was to help the club and the community.

“We’re trying to emphasise that team building for athletes is not just in the pool, but it’s outside as well. This idea for the beach clean-up came as our way to give back to the community that helps us so much in so many ways.” (AD)
