MINISTER OF CULTURE Stephen Lashley has blown a whistle on negative behaviours that have infiltrated the Barbadian society and wants them replaced with voluntarism and community-centred activity.
He cited an element within the ZR culture and Barbadians who litter at every opportunity as the culprits.
The minister was speaking at the opening ceremony of the 2017 Community Independence Celebrations at King George V Memorial Park on Saturday.
He took a swipe at the pockets of “loutish behaviour” while praising the efforts of the participants of Community Independence Celebrations. (AD)
