DESPITE BEING CONSIDERED one of the world’s most popular sports, bridge continues to be one of Barbados’ hidden treasures.
Barbados Bridge League president Roglyn Hinds says Barbadians need to reshuffle their views on the card game which would allow them to recognise its true value.
“People see bridge as nothing. Who plays bridge? But more people in the world play bridge than any other sport,” she told NATIONSPORT during a recent interview.
She added that they had been reaping success on the world stage. (RG)
