FOUR STUDENTS APPEARED in court yesterday on beating charges.

Three were remanded; two of them to juvenile institutions and one to the adult prison, while the other was released on bail.

While three of the teenagers were in court in connection with the viral video of the attack of a 15-year-old Lester Vaughan student making the rounds on social media, the other matter involved two assault charges brought against another student in a different fight.

On Monday two teenagers will return to District “D” Magistrate’s Court after a four-day remand, having admitted their part in the May 17 brutal beating of the 15-year-old. (AC)
