OBEROI COULD GIVE further testimony today as to his intentions for next month’s second Jewel of the Triple Crown – the Midsummer Creole Classic – with a comprehensive victory in the 4:40 p.m. feature Race 6 at the Garrison Savannah.

The Melrose Racing colt leads a star-studded field of nine runners, who will all line up in the Harmony General Insurance Breeders’ Stakes And Trophy over 1 800 metres.

Having finished second to Fleurette in the Barbados Guineas, the Robert Peirce-trained Oberoi must take the bull by the horns.
