EXERCISE TRADEWINDS 2017 is quickly approaching and this was evident as several agencies, including the Department of Emergency Management, the Barbados Fire Service and the Barbados Coast Guard, took over Queen’s Park yesterday for about four hours.

From 10 a.m. representatives from participating teams in the largest multinational security and disaster management exercise to be held in the Caribbean held an expo entitled Volunteer To Make A Difference. Exercise Tradewinds begins on June 6.

Scores of people were attracted to the showcase of disaster response techniques along with live demonstrations of moulaging. (TG)
