HILTON BARBADOS WARRIORS’ already slim playoff hopes are looking thinner still.

Station Hill Cavaliers have all but knocked the Dayrells Road side out of postseason contention after routing Warriors 90-58 in Sunday’s Co-operators General Insurance Basketball Premier League at the Barbados Community College.

The 32-point blowout dropped Warriors (8-7) a full game behind defending champs Orange 3 Pinelands (9-6) for the fourth and final playoff spot with just a game left in the regular season.

And the Pine owns the head-to-head tiebreaker between the two teams by virtue of sweeping Warriors this year. (JM)
