ST THOMAS HAS a lot to offer the tourism industry, parliamentary representative Cynthia Forde said yesterday.

She said the offerings included the Rock Hall Freedom Village which hosted one of the final CARIFESTA XIII events yesterday.

‘This for me is a take-off from where this project had been halted for quite some time. I want to thank the Minister, Stephen Lashley, and the Ministry of Culture for paying special attention to this Freedom Village project which is so necessary,” Forde said.

She said St Thomas was home to many of the island’s natural tourist attractions and the Freedom Village added to the parish’s offerings. (LK)
