THE THREE MALES charged in connection with a number of offences committed on Kadooment Day, have been remanded to Her Majesty’s Prisons Dodds, after appearing in Criminal Court No. 1 of the District “A” Magistrates’ Court today.
They are Raheem Akeem Grimes, 22, of Chadderton Road, Carrington Village, St Michael, Triston Soneil Alleyne, 22, of Parris Gap, Westbury Road, St Michael and Elijah Akeem Copeland, 17, of Chase Gap, Halls Road, St Michael.
They are jointly charged with the use of unlawful violence and that their conduct taken together was such as to cause Barry Marshall, a person at the scene, to fear for his personal safety.
They were also individually charged with recklessly or unlawfully discharging a firearm in a public place, in a manner that placed 23 persons in danger of death or serious bodily harm.
They were not required to plead to the indictable charge and Magistrate Douglas Fredericks remanded them for 28 days.
The accused, whom are all represented by counsel, are expected to reappear in court on September 26. (RA)
