No child will be left behind, says Jones

MINISTER OF EDUCATION Ronald Jones is adamant that no Barbadian child will be denied learning opportunities other international students have.

As such, he said whether people liked it or not, the Mobile Technologies Use Policy for nursery, primary and secondary schools in Barbados would be coming.

Jones reaffirmed his desire to see the policy come to fruition yesterday following the launch of the Mobile Device Management System (MAS) for schools at the ministry’s headquarters on Constitution Road, St Michael.

“[The delay] will not stop these things from happening in our schools, the use of tablets, the use of laptops, the use of computers, e-book solutions,” he told the media. (AD)
