Murder accused remanded

TWO MURDER ACCUSED will spend the next 28 days at HMP Dodds.

Damien Rommel Springer, 28, of St Judes, St George is charged with the murder of Shawn Taylor on August 21.

Similarly, Jonathan Fitzgerald Gaskin, 18, of Apt 6 Wanstead Gardens, St Michael is charged with the murder of Ajay Smith sometime between May 23 and 24.

Both unemployed men were not required to plead to the indictable offences, and were remanded into custody until October 5 and 6 respectively, when they are scheduled to appear in the Oistins Magistrates’ Court. (RA)
