A PENETRATIVE SPIN attack led by Kenroy Williams took Crane Resort St Catherine to a comfortable nine-wicket victory over Barbados Defence Force Sports Programme (BDFSP) on the final day of fourth round matches in the Barbados Cricket Association’s Elite Division yesterday.

Off-spinner Williams took five for 30 as BDFSP collapsed to 136 all out in their second innings.

Set 81 to win, St Catherine cruised to the target for the loss of only one wicket just after 5 p.m. with 13.2 overs remaining.

The win moved St Catherine up to fourth place in the table which is headed by Empire, and extended their seven-point advantage at the start of the series to 14. (PH)
