Police name man killed in St Philip accident

Police are continuing investigations into the road fatality which occurred around 10:20 p.m. on Wednesday along St Martins, St Philip, at its junction with Harlington Road.

The deceased has been identified as Wilton McAndrew Brathwaite, 68, of Suttle Street, St Michael and formerly of St Martins, St Philip.

Brathwaite was struck by a minibus driven by 43-year-old Shawn Weatherhead of McClean Road, Silver Sands, Christ Church as he attempted to cross the road.

He was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance and later succumbed to his injuries.
