Police name man killed in accident

Police are continuing investigations into the road fatality which occurred around 11:20 p.m. last night, along Oistins Road, Christ Church, at its junction with Pegwell Road, which resulted in the death of 61-year-old David Taylor, of no fixed place of abode.

Taylor was riding his bicycle along the road when he became involved in a collision with a truck being driven by Mathew Headley, 28, of Pegwell, Christ Church.

Taylor sustained head injuries and was transported to the QEH by ambulance, but later succumbed to his injuries.

Anyone who witnessed this accident, or can provide any information to assist with the investigation is being asked to contact the Oistins Police Station at telephone number 418-2612. (PR)
