Teens charged in Ellerslie incident

Police have arrested and charged two schoolboys in connection with the disturbance which occurred on Wednesday at Ellerslie Secondary School.

A 16-year-old boy receiving several cutlass slashes to his right hand after a group of students became involved in an altercation in the canteen during the lunch break.

A 15-year-old from Deacons, St Michael has been charged with inflicting serious bodily harm while a 16-year-old from Checker Hall, St Lucy, has been charged with wounding with intent.

The two are expected to appear in court tomorrow. (PR/NB)
