ST MICHAEL WEST Central gave St Michael Central a mauling they will never forget, crushing them 14-0 in the National Sports Council’s/Youth Development Programme community Under-17 football competition on Tuesday.
Josiah Hinds was the unquestioned man of the match, lashing in seven goals at Valery. He scored in the sixth, 16th, 18th, 20th, 27th, 37th and 39th minutes.
Tresance Goodridge scored four of the goals, starting the onslaught in the third minute and finishing off strong with strikes in the 46th, 49th and 55th minutes.
The other goals came from Rishon Goodman, Amari White and Chad White.
In other matches at Valery, St Michael West came from behind to defeatSt Michael North East 2-1 whileSt Michael North West beat St Michael North 1-0. Over at Speightstown, St Lucy, St James North and St Peter, were convincing winners.
St Lucy rolled over St James Central 4-0 on goals from Nikolai Jackman, Shaquan Hippolyte, Deshawn Toppin and Shamario Depeiza.
Kyle Cumberbatch and Karin Lopez found the nets to lead St Peter to a 2-0 win over St Andrew while St James North defeated St James South 3-1. (MK)
