Six athletes suspended by NADC

Along with three previous anti-doping rule violations, drug tests undertaken by the National Anti-Doping Commission in the last quarter of 2017 returned the following Adverse Analytical Findings. (PR)

Complicity – refused to allow doping controls at a competition sanctioned by the BABBFF.

NADC Anti-Doping Rules pursuant to Article 2.9 Complicity constitutes an anti-doping rule violation (“ADRV”).

Awaiting Hearing.

Violation of Article 2.1 ADR, namely the Presence of a Prohibited Substance or its Metabolites or Markers in an Athlete’s Sample.

Hoskin Worrell

Boldenone and metabolite; androsterone; (anabolic steroid in Class S1) pregnanediol (a metabolite of the female hormone, progesterone); furosemide (a diuretic and masking agent in Class S5).

Violation of Article 2.1 ADR, namely the Presence of a Prohibited Substance or its Metabolites or Markers in an Athlete’s Sample.

Provisionally suspended. Awaiting Hearing.

GW501516 metabolites –  metabolic modulator in Class S4. (A regulator of fat burning and increases muscle mass by increasing testosterone levels)

Violation of Article 2.1 ADR, namely the Presence of a Prohibited Substance or its Metabolites or Markers in an Athlete’s Sample.

 

Provisionally suspended. Awaiting Hearing. Has denied use. Athlete had initially requested the B sample but later declined this.
