The Green Machine continues to roll.

Make that 11 in a row for Pinto House (Green), as St Cyprian’s Boys’ reigning kings successfully defended yet another inter-house title on Thursday at the Usain Bolt Sports Complex.

Led by victor ludorum Jordyn Adams, Pinto won their latest sports day by amassing 371 points to relegate rivals Marshall to second place after Yellow House finished with 318 points.

Tyrone (Red) and Hazlewood (Blue) came third and fourth with 271 and 270 points, respectively.

Pinto won just about everything on the day, actually accounting for three of the five division titles on offer, including the Under-11 category via Adams’ big performance.

The top sprinter ran away with the 100, 200 and 300 metres after placing second in the cricket ball throw to finish with 38 points.

Teammate Keidon Waterman took the Under-7 division with 29 points while Jalen Alleyne had 16 to come out on top in the Under-5 category.

Hazlewood had something to cheer for via the efforts of new kid on the block Jayden Greene, who won the Under-13 division with 31 points.

Young Zarell Harding accounted for the other category when he took the Under-9 division for Tyrone with 34 points. (JM)
