Several businesses along Fontabelle, Cheapside and Harbour Road have closed today due to a foul smell in the area. Oran Limited, PIP Nursery, Pan-American Life Insurance, Shop Smart and the BIDC all closed their doors as workers became affected by the smell.
Workers and residents in the area said the stench had been noticeable since Sunday and remained when the business week started today.
