There was no stopping Yellow House’s Ebony Downes-Tempro, who was named victrix ludorum.

She dominated the Under-15 division, winning four gold medals, while gathering 68 points. She won the shot put, high jump, 100 metres and 400 metres.

Downes-Tempro, who broke two records in the Frank Blackman Zone of the Barbados Secondary Schools Athletics Championships last year, was also second in the 200 metres and javelin and third in the discus and long jump.

Yellow’s Jade Yearwood ran away with the victor ludorum title when he totalled 71.5 points. He won the Under-20 Boys’ 200, 400, 800, 1500 metres and javelin. Yearwood also took silver in the 100 metres.
