As part of the 30th anniversary celebrations of the Land Registry Department, there will be a tree planting ceremony next week on the compound of the Warrens Office Complex, Warrens, St Michael, where the department is located.

The event, which will see two trees planted, takes place on Friday, February 23, at 10 a.m.

Minister of Housing, Lands and Rural Development, Denis Kellman, will plant a fruit tree, while the Registrar of Titles, Winston Coppin, will place a flowering tree into the ground. Afterwards, both will address the brief ceremony.

Kellman will also unveil a plaque and there will be a cake cutting to commemorate Land Registry’s 30 years of operation. (BGIS)
