The Nation Group of Companies will undergo a comprehensive restructuring process, which aims to streamline the relevant organizations and reduce operational costs, to best respond to the changing business and media environment.

The changes, which will be rolled out over the next two months, will see continued enhancements to media products across print, digital and radio.

In consultation with the Barbados Workers Union, it will also result in adjustments to the staff complement and skills base across the group, to improve business performance and profitability.

The company has put together a programme that will allow staff who are leaving the company and those who are retained, to benefit from counselling, training and other services.

Anthony Shaw, CEO of the Nation Group said: “We have been reviewing our operations over the last year and the restructuring process is critical to building the best possible operation to sustain our business and pursue growth in this dynamic media landscape, while ensuring the highest levels of service for our customers.” (PR)
