Belle brings bronze for Barbados

NASSAU – Barbadian Sarah Belle captured a bronze medal in the opening Under-17 Girls’ 100 metres hurdles of the evening session on the third and final day of the 47th Flow CARIFTA Games at the Thomas A. Robinson Stadium here Monday.

Belle clocked a personal best 13.55 seconds but was unable to catch the Jamaican pair of Crystal Morrison, who set a new record time of 13.11 seconds and silver medallist, Ackera Nugent (13.35).

The other Barbadian in the race, Anika Blackman was fifth in 14.46 seconds. (EZS)
