The Barbados Labour Party’s first order of business is to address the nation’s failing economy.

This was revealed by general secretary and campaign manager Dr Jerome Walcott during the party’s second press conference, at their Roebuck Street, The City headquarters this morning.

Referring to the report issued yesterday by Central Bank Governor Cleviston Haynes, which said Barbadians would have to tighten their belts more, Walcott said the ruling Democratic Labour Party continued to plunge Barbados into the abyss of doom and gloom. (RA)
