Fogging schedule June 4 – 8

The Vector Control Unit of the Ministry of Health will continue its fogging programme aimed at eradicating the Aedes aegypti mosquito next week.

On Monday, June 4, a team will be in St Philip fogging Nursery #1, Nursery #2, Four Roads, Mangrove, Mangrove Terrace, Carnation Close and environs.

The exercise continues in Christ Church on Tuesday, June 5, in Maxwell Main Road, Dover Road, Headley Road, Dover Terrace, Dover with Avenues, Bath Village, St Lawrence Gap, Paradise Village and surrounding areas.

On Wednesday, June 6, areas to be fogged are Forde’s Road, Club Morgan with Avenues, Corbin Road, Plantain Walk, Clapham Drive, Simmons Road, Chandria Close, Rendezvous Terrace, Bartletts Ridge and neighbouring districts in Christ Church.

The team returns to Christ Church on Thursday, June 7, to spray Moravian Gardens with Avenues, Fairholme Gardens with Avenues, Grannum Road, Maxwell Park Drive, Maxwell Park Avenue, Ridge Close, Golden Sands Close, Hythe Gardens with Avenues and environs.

St George will be targeted on Friday, June 8, specifically Sweet Vale, Brathwaite Road, Butcher Road, Redland Tenantry, Bailey Alley and neighbouring districts.

The fogging exercises will be carried out between 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. each day. Householders are reminded to open their doors and windows to allow the spray to enter. (BGIS)
