Jemmotts Lane clean up to start Monday

The public is advised that work to clean up the site of the recent fires at the old Ministry of Health compound on Jemmotts Lane, St Michael, will begin on Monday, July 16. This will include the removal of all asbestos from the site.

The work, which will be carried out under the supervision of the Environmental Protection Department, is expected to be completed within two weeks.

The Ministry of Health and Wellness has advised people with respiratory conditions, including asthma, to take precautions when traversing the area. (BGIS)
