A 23-year-old female passenger from Black Rock, St Michael, is the island’s latest road fatality.
The accident occurred sometime after three this afternoon on the Tom Adams section of the ABC Highway in the area of Chickmont.
Meanwhile a 32-year-old female of Gall Hill, Christ Church, who is said to have been the driver in the vehicle, sustained injuries.Â
The vehicle left the carriageway and struck a palm tree. The driver was taken to seek medical attention. The car was extensively damaged.
Police have since cordoned off the area, and are currently diverting traffic along Golf Club Road and Lowlands, Christ Church.
