Meghan Theobalds came, she saw and conquered.
Minutes before 10 tonight at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre, a very stunned Theobalds was announced as the new Miss Universe Barbados.
She stood centre stage emotionless until the crown was placed on her head by outgoing queen Lesley Chapman-Andrews.
The new queen, in a post-show interview, said she was shocked and couldn’t believe the moment was happening.
Theobalds will represent Barbados at the Miss Universe Pageant in Thailand on December 16. (DB)
