Top heads of the Cricket West Indies (CWI) will meet today in Antigua via teleconference to come up with their next move following Stuart Law’s resignation as head coach of the West Indies team.

This was revealed to THE NATION by president of the Barbados Cricket Association, Conde Riley, on Tuesday.

“We are having a meeting [today] at which we will look at all the options that will be presented by our director of cricket Jimmy Adams and then we will sit down and look at an interim coach and go through the process of hiring a permanent head coach. That’s where we are right now,” said Riley, who is also a director of the CWI.

This impromptu meeting comes on the heels of the announcement by the Cricket West Indies on Monday that the Australia-born coach, 49, was leaving the position he held for the past two years. (RG)
