Fogging schedule October 22 to 25

Officers of the Vector Control Unit of the Ministry of Health and Wellness will be in Christ Church, St Philip, St Michael and St James, as they continue their efforts to control the mosquito population.

On Monday, October 22, the team will be in St Philip fogging Wellhouse, Lynches, Lynches Tenantry, Content Cot, Coles Terrace, Blue Dolphin Drive, Coles Crescent, Coles Close, Coles Road, Merricks Tenantry Road and surrounding areas.

On Tuesday, October 23, fogging will be carried out in the St Michael districts of Hothersal Turning, Friendship, Friendly Hall, Brownes Gap, Skeete’s Road with Avenues, Hothersal Terrace and environs; and the Christ Church districts of Rendezvous Hill, Brewster Road, Worthing with Avenues, Bamboo Road, Beckles Road, Harmony Hall, Top Rock and surrounding areas.

On Wednesday, October 24, the team will spray Top Rock, Graeme Hall Terrace, Graeme Hall Heights, Graeme Hall Park, St Lawrence Gap, Paradise Village and neighbouring districts in Christ Church.

The areas to be fogged on Thursday, October 25 are Sunset Crest, Hibiscus Avenue, Cherry Avenue, Violet Row, Cemetery Lane, Flamboyant Avenue, Cordia Avenue and Mayhoe Avenue in St James; and Highway 7, Hastings, Rockley, Casa Blanca, Rendezvous Hill, Worthing Main Road and surrounding areas in Christ Church.

The fogging exercises will be carried out between 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. each day. Householders are reminded to open their windows and doors to allow the spray to enter. (BGIS)
