House fire displaces 11 people

Police in the Southern Division, are investigating a fire of unknown origin, which occurred around 3:15 p.m. on Saturday October 20 at the residence of Haven Whitehall of Massiah Street, St John.

The uninsured house was subdivided and occupied by appropriately ten other people. No one was at home at the time of the fire.

Two fire tenders and nine personnel from the Barbados Fire Service under the command of two station officers responded to and brought the fire under control. (PR)
