Hopeful homeowners who entered the Ashley Furniture Smart Homes Magazine (AFSM) Design Challenge 2018, in association with Harris Paints, have been given a gift to help give their homes a lift in the run up to Christmas. Each entrant received a shopping voucher redeemable at any Harris Colourcentre.

“For the Challenge, only three lucky homeowners could be selected from the 74 entries received,” explained Harris Paints Retail Manager, Shontelle Cesar-Morris. “This bonus gift is awarded to the other home contestants, in recognition of their participation and to contribute to their home improvements, especially during the Christmas season where homes take centre stage.”

Cesar-Morris pointed out that, “Paint is one of the most effective ways to get a new look with a small investment and this was borne out in the AFSM Design Challenge. The three finalists, Melissa Blackman, Yasmin Parris-Tempro and Monique MacKay did a tremendous job in their makeovers, creating impactful and inviting spaces with a creative use of colour.”

The AFSM Design Challenge concluded on Sunday October 7, when Melissa Blackman was crowned the winning designer.

Recipients of the vouchers will also be able to cash in on the special promotional prices available at Harris Paints until December 31, with up to 40 per cent discounts off paints, primers, woodcare products and more. (PR)
