Add parking fees at the Grantley Adams International Airport (GAIA) to the list of services for which Barbadians will have to pay more.
The increased fees were announced on Wednesday and pictures of the new structure quickly madethe rounds on social media.
Come December 1, parking at GAIA will now cost $2 for 30 minutes and $3 for one hour. While those saw a modest increase of $1 each, parking for 24 hours is now $24, double the previous amount.
Minister of Tourism and International Transport Kerrie Symmonds said improvements had to be made to the car park. (DB)
