One man injured in shooting incident

Police are investigating a shooting incident in which Peter Toppin, 32, received injuries to his lower back on Wednesday at Whitehall Road, St. Michael. 

The shooting occurred about 6:50 p.m. and Toppin was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in a car. Anyone with information which may assist with the investigations are asked to contact police emergency at 211, District “A” Police Station at 430-7242, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477 or any police station.
