November was supposed to be a huge celebration for Hayden Mayers and his twin sisters Monica and Veronica Mayers.
He marked his 50th birthday on November 1, Monica and Veronica celebrated theirs on Thursday, November 8, and the trio planned for a huge party for friends and family at the end of the month.
That was not to be, as Mayers fell victim to a gunman’s bullet on Thursday night at Mansion Road, Bank Hall, St Michael, as the bread vendor made his rounds.
That very night, said Mayers’ niece Rashida, they were making the final arrangements for the celebratory event. Those plans have now turned into a final farewell. (SDB Media)
