The Barbados Revenue Authority (BRA) is advising corporate and business taxpayers who made payments on time with their old Tax Identification Numbers for the June and July 2018 periods, to ignore the non-payment notices which they received from the new TAMIS system.

The BRA is presently migrating those payments from the ETAX and VETAS systems into TAMIS and when the migration is completed, all affected TAMIS tax accounts will be updated to reflect that these payments were made on time.

The Authority is assuring those entities and business persons that they will not incur any penalty or interest on the aforementioned payments.

The BRA has expressed thanks to the business sector for its patience and understanding. (BGIS)
