St Thomas man stabbed in Swan Street

AN EVENING STABBING INCIDENT in busy Bridgetown brought traffic to a crawl and attracted curious onlookers yesterday.

Kadeem Caddle, 27, of Proute, St Thomas, was stabbed multiple times about the body.

According to the police, the stabbing incident was the result of an altercation between two men who knew each other. It started on Swan Street around 3 p.m.

After the incident, Caddle ran through a store and onto Princess Alice Street before collapsing in a nearby store where his sister worked.

He was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by private vehicle where he underwent surgery. ( DB)
