Portion of highway blocked

Drivers are being advised that a section of the Ronald Mapp Highway has been blocked off to regular traffic due to ongoing road rehabilitation.

Those heading north approaching the junction at Haymans/Black Bess in St Peter are being made to detour past the old sugar factory, through Farm Road and on to Speightstown. It appears that only essential services, like a SSA truck seen, are being allowed through.

It was unclear how long this blockage/detour would last. (BW)
