Under-17s draw first match in CONCACAF tourney

Barbados’ football team snatched a late point in a 1-1 draw against Guatemala in their first match of the CONCACAF Under-17 Championship at the IMG Academy, Miami, Florida.

 Thierry Gale’s strike in the 94th minute cancelled out the opening goal from Anderson Gaitan which came in the 55th.

The Young Tridents will take on hosts United States on Saturday and Canada on Monday in their remaining group stage games. (AG-B)
