Murder accused appears in court

Clifton Ricardo Lewis was remanded to prison after he appeared in the District “A” Civil Court this afternoon.

Lewis, 35, of Stratford Hill, the Pine, St Michael, is accused of murdering 27-year-old Anthony “Unga” Nurse, also of Stratford Hill, on April 29.

Magistrate Wayne Clarke remanded the accused, who was represented by attorney Safiya Moore, to HMP Dodds until May 31 when he will appear in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court. (HLE)
