Records could go by the board today at Bushy Park.
It will be Full Throttle 3, a day/night event organised by the Barbados Association of Dragsters and Drifters (BADD) and has attracted 28 dragsters and one drifter, Jerun White.
But Steve Bruce, who once held the 1/8 of a mile drag race record, says he and his works crew, “Hospital Boyz” are following a dream and nothing can stop them setting a new record in the five seconds category this year.
With the support of Seawell Automotive Centre, Seawell Fitness Centre and Total Oils, Bruce said it is going to be a straight fight between his crew and that of the Speed Shop Boys, led by another fast man, Robert Bishop, who will be at the wheel of the Nissan Skyline GTR.
