Police have arrested and charged 33-year-old Joaquin Alberto Lobo of Caseros Buenos Aires, Argentina who entered Barbados by plane on July 3, with two counts of theft of money.
The charges are as follows:
â–ª That between July 6 and 7, he stole $3 040 in Barbados currency belonging to Barbados Public Workers Cooperative Credit Union Limited.
â–ª That between July 5 and 8 stole $79 770 in Barbados currency belonging to CIBC First Caribbean International Bank (Barbados) Limited.
He is scheduled to appear at the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court today. (PR)
