Wednesday’s triple tragedy in the Warrens South, St Michael neighbourhood is bringing the community closer; spurring family rights activists into action while many are getting counselling after the shocking deaths.

A day after Corelius Barrow, 42, and his two infant children Riordan and Rhea died in a fiery blast, a neighbour, Eric Marshall, who has lived in the area for the last 17 years, and another resident were planning to hold a community meeting on Sunday.

“Me and another resident are planning to have a community meeting on Sunday and get everyone here to get on board and meet the newcomers in the neighbourhood. This is how we have to interact with each one and forget that part where some people feel they more special than some,” he said a stone’s throw from Barrow’s boarded up apartment yesterday.

Marshall said Barrow lived in the area “not long” and remembered seeing his wife Jovona, pushing a stroller with the baby. (RA)
