Police are on the scene at Hastings Beach in Christ Church, investigating the discovery of a body.
They received a telephone report that the body of a young female was seen near the water’s edge and was subsequently pulled onto the sand.
A police patrol immediately responded and confirmed the discovery. It is said to be the body of a 27-year-old Guyanese national who was living in St Matthias, Christ Church, but the identity has not yet been released.
