Building Blocks project launched

The Ministry of Youth and Community Empowerment’s officially launched its Building Blocks initiative yesterday to give those “on the block” the opportunity to set up their own businesses and improve the spirit of their community.

The programme was developed with a comprehensive community-based social intervention strategy to address the problems of unemployment among the youth and incidents of crime and violence.

Minister Adrian Forde said the programme would transform the lives of scores of males across the island.(SB)
