It’s back to school for Class 4 students of the Lawrence T. Gay Memorial Primary from Monday. They will be housed at Grace Hill Moravian Church, a stone’s throw away from their Spooners Hill, St Michael school.

However, where the other pupils will go is still not known, while the school, which was closed on Wednesday for environmental reasons, remains off limits.

Last night, first vice-president of the school’s Parent-Teacher Association (PTA), Steffanie Williams, confirmed this following an emergency meeting of the PTA at the church.

While Minister of Education Santia Bradshaw was absent, Chief Education Officer Joy Adamson, Deputy Chief Education Officer Dr Roderick Rudder, senior education officer Dr Christina Morris, district education officer Shamin Ally and parents were engaged in the meeting. (RA)
