Parents stand by St Alban’s

Despite a few calls for increased security, parents of children attending St Alban’s Primary School are standing firm behind the school.

Yesterday was the first day of classes after the Weston, St James school was closed last Thursday following the daring morning shooting death of Marlon Holder as he was dropping off his son.

“I feel comfortable still as I know security does a good job and the perpetrator knew who they wanted, so I’m not scared. It’s possible it might happen again, but the children got to come to school.

“There’s no sense in thinking about moving to another school because it could happen there too. All I can do is put God first and ask for His protection,” said Mary Worrell. (CA)
